Now people are buying caravans for their personal uses and many of them are using their caravans for their recreational activity. There are some rare tourist places where you cannot reach by a public transport, and you cannot find any suitable accommodation and restaurants in these places. If you want to explore these areas then you can buy a caravan. You can easily drive your caravan and reach these tourist places with your family and friends. Caravan is just like your second home, where you can design your bedroom, kitchen, drawing room and store rooms. Apart from that, you can also install all your favorite gadgets and electronic appliances like television and music systems inside your caravan. So feel the comfort and travel to some extensive areas with your personalized caravan.


Different Types of Caravans That You Can Choose

Conventional ones: These have a single axle and these vary between 3 and 6.5 meters long from the inside. Based on the interior layout, between 2 and 6 people can sleep in it. These have a washroom and toilet, a shower and a basin. It has a kitchen area which has a sink, work surfaces, a hob and other features which are necessary.
Twin Axle Caravans: these are easier to tow and are more stable. However, these are hard to maneuver when you are pitching them or returning them into storage.
Full pop out caravans: Have all the benefits of a full van and they have more space too. This allows putting of folding bunks. These double up as seats in the day time. These are good for big families as they have more space as the beds are outside the van. This however takes long to organize the sleeping arrangements.

There are also teardrop trailers which can be towed with even small vehicles and sports cars or classic cars. These have basic accommodations which are a double bed which takes up the whole floor. Some may have basic cooking facilities and equipment.

What Are The Advantages Of Pop-Top Caravans?

Pop Top caravans are not popular now. The roof can be lifted so that there is headroom. This caravan has less frontal area and so there is better fuel consumption for tow car. These also can be stored in garages at home. These are lighter than full vans.
Pop top and out caravans have benefits of the pop top as well as the pop out beds. This allows for lots of space when it is set up as the beds are outside the caravan. However, the space is lesser for storage. They however are easier to store.


The Folding And First Wheeler Caravans For Your Convenience:

Folding caravans are easy to tow as well as to store but they are time consuming and inconvenient when it needs to be erected on site.
The T&B one does not have much locker storage space overhead but it has a huge double bed and a kitchen which is compact and also it has a small room where there is the chemical toilet.
The fifth wheelers require a pickup truck to tow these and these have a huge living space as well as slide out sections too. These have a lot of home comforts and most of the actual furniture which homes have. This however cannot be used on all campsites.

Medium duty caravans are used for bitumen roads as well as limited light roads.There are heavy duty caravans which are used on corrugated roads in short distances.There are all terrain caravans which are good for all kinds of caravans.
