Caustic Soda: Before you begin with this process, make sure to use eye protection along with gloves. If you do not take protections, it can cause chemical burns. Visit the nearby store and buy some caustic soda. In a bucket, take a 3/4th gallon of cold water and add 3 cups of caustic soda in it. After you are done adding, stir it well using a wooden spoon. Once it begins fizzing up, pour it in the clogged drains gradually. Allow it to settle for at least 20-30 minutes. Once you are done with the process, make sure to clean it off.

Drain snake: You may not know, but this small piece of technology can be pretty compelling. The drain snake is the long rope of metal that has one spiral metal in the end. You should be a little cautious while using it.

Dish detergent: If you notice your toilet pipe to be clogged, take 1/4th of a dish detergent in the bowl. Add some boiled water to it. The dish soap will be the efficient lubricant and bring out all the greasy material. Once you are done, add hot water to it. You can use a plunger or rubber glove.

How to prevent Drains from Clogging?

To prevent blocked drains, make sure to follow the steps mentioned below:

Dispose off the food items and grease in the trash
Do not dispose off hot water to melt the fats
Clean the kitchen sink with salt and warm water
Make sure to put up a hair filter in the bathroom drain

You should ensure to take every necessary step to prevent blocked drains. The blockage of drains can be a significant threat to health and hygiene.
